BLT Cheese Ball

Ingredients
2 (8oz) packages Cream Cheese – room temperature
1 cup finely shredded cheddar cheese
HINT: do not use the pre-shredded cheese in the package because it has that powdery icky stuff mixed in to prevent clumping. It does not mix as smoothly
1 jar sun dried tomatoes (chop very fine) If they are packed in oil, rinse well and pat dry with a paper towel
3-4 sprigs of finely chopped chives (green onion can be used too, just chop it very fine)
1 pound of bacon (cooked crispy and chopped fine) Pat off excess bacon grease. Divide in half
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Mixed all ingredients using only ½ of the bacon until well blended. Chill in the refrigerator about 1 hour. Then shape it into a ball or loaf. Pat the remaining chopped bacon to cover the outside. Wrap in plastic wrap and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least a day.
Serve with your choice of crackers.

NOTE: For real bacon lovers more bacon can be used
